Canterbury is a charming town in the county of Kent and only a 55-minute train ride or 90-minute car journey away from London. It is immersed in the picturesque greenery of the English countryside and famous for its gothic cathedral and being the seat of the University of Kent.


Classes will be held in a modern building, a 10-minute walk from the residence. A nurse is available in the centre. Sports activities will take place in local sports fields and multipurpose gyms.

Language Course

15 lessons per week, 60 minutes each (30 total hours), in homogeneous classes of max. 20 students.


Residence: Single or twin ensuite room.
Host family: Twin or triple room.
Bathroom shared with the family members and the other hosted students. Full board (Host family: lunch and dinner at the canteen from Monday to Friday, all the other meals will be provided by the host family).

Sports Equipment

Sports activities will take place in local sports fields and multipurpose gyms.

Free Time and Activities

  • 2 full day excursions such as:
    London, Brighton or Cambridge (entrances not included)
  • 2 half day excursions such as:
    Leeds Castle, Dover Castle or Chatham
  • Some local visits
    Canterbury Cathedral, St. Augustine’s Abbey
  • Afternoon and evening activities
